Strong Fitness Performance & Ninja is Hiring a Head Youth Coach Near Dallas, TX

HEAD YOUTH COACH

We are looking for an experienced youth fitness coach with skills in Ninja, Parkour, or Tumbling to lead several of Strong's Youth Classes. The applicant should have a significant history as a leader in their respective disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Full Time at Dallas location with potential of expansion into regional leadership of DFW
  • Coaching youth classes in a variety of formats (6-12 classes/week)
  • Establish youth class curriculum with excellence and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the growth, development and leadership of the Ninja, Parkour or Tumbling
  • Implement creative retention strategies.
  • Floor Obstacle Design and improvements
  • Coach higher offer services such as semi-private and private sessions.
  • Attend weekly coach’s meeting, (in-person)
  • Attend Coaching Development sessions.
  • Support all major Strong Events
  • Reports to Program Director

  • Always represent Strong Mission Statement: Care, Educate, Inspire
  • Knowledgeable on all of Strong membership offerings and able to answer any questions from potential new members and members.
  • Create a personal connection with each member, strive to know each member by name.
  • Based on positions hired, management and director leadership
  • Manage job responsibilities listed or assigned in the future.
  • Professional, Courteous, Enthusiastic attitude at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience leading youth fitness classes and curriculum in Sport, Ninja, Parkour, Gymnastics, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Able to reliably coach up 6-12 classes a week on an ongoing basis.
  • Has a heart for serving youth and their families as well as making a real impact in their lives.
  • Desires to be a part of a team and company that strives for excellence and shares those same values.

Our youth program comprises 5 classes based on age range and skill level.

· Fun ‘N Run (4-5 years): A dynamic class that develops their gross and fine motor skills, as well as their physical and mental abilities.

· Movement (6-8 years): As your child’s age level’s up so does the class! Movement is an introduction to physical fitness training, nutrition basics, improving body awareness, grip & pulling strength, speed, balance, agility, coordination and confidence.

· Peak (9-12 years): Peak is a transformative class for those ages 9-12 as they are starting to hit growth spurts. It improves bone density, enhances motor skills, and maintain a healthy body composition.

· Perform (13 years): Perform is for 13 and older youth where their physical and mental maturity is becoming more prominent. Maximize your child’s ability to develop speed, strength, coordination and mental well-being.

· Ninja Level 2: Class based on skill level for any age who aspires to compete like a Ninja Warrior.

· Speed & Agility: enhance speed, coordination, and athletic ability.

Each of the classes has a heavy emphasis on improving body awareness fundamentals and human movement to give kids the necessary building blocks to develop throughout life.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
