Title: Logistics & Inventory Coordinator
Department: Corona Retail Store Operations
Reports To: Retail Manager with dotted line reporting to the Operations Manager
Hours Required: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule : Weekends may be required
Location : Corona Bike Shop Riverside HQ
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour
The Job
Located in Riverside, we are an online retailer of all things bike mountain, road, e-bike, you name it. Our product offering makes for a unique work environment as there isn't a warehouse like ours in the area. Many of our team members are avid riders, and while it isn't a requirement for the job, you just might end up on a bike. As a Logistics & Inventory Coordinator, you'll primarily be responsible for the transportation of products from our corporate office located in Riverside to the Corona Bike Shop. You will also support the warehouse and the Corona bike shop in operational and inventory tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Transportation:
  • Pick and pack products according to orders and load them onto the company van.
  • Safely drive the van from the corporate office to the bike shop, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Unload products upon arrival at the bike shop and ensure they are received in good condition.
  • Transport orders from retail store to warehouse (returns, aged inventory, etc.).
Inventory Management:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records at both the corporate warehouse and retail shop.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Correct any discovered inventory errors within Microsoft D365.
  • Organize products within the retail shop to optimize space and enhance the shopping experience for customers.
  • Generate and affix price tags to store inventory and update as necessary.
Warehouse/Store Support:
  • Assist in various warehouse tasks during downtime, including but not limited to receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and fulfilling orders.
  • Assist Returns Department with bike teardowns and restocking.
  • Assist Corona and Will Call with store operations and customer service as business needs require.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Maintain open communication with both corporate and retail teams to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and inventory management.
  • Work closely with the retail team to understand their needs and provide support as required.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle counting adjustment reports.
Adherence to Safety Protocols:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures during transportation, loading/unloading, and warehouse activities to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to management promptly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be 25 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • An interest in cycling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications, inventory management systems, and Microsoft D365 is a plus.
