The Social Content Coordinator at Jenni Kayne is responsible for general platform management, scheduling and posting, as well as identifying trends and generating captivating social media content for various platforms. They play a crucial role in upholding the brand's aesthetic essence while driving performance, and ensuring the seamless execution of marketing and brand endeavors. Additionally, they collaborate with internal departments, facilitate communication, and contribute to concept development and strategy for marketing campaigns and social media content schedules. The Social Content Coordinator also supports video editing workflow for social media channels and brand initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Social Media Monitoring: Executes on the social media calendar, scheduling and posting across channels. Identify and analyze trending sounds, visuals, and concepts, and present them to the wider social team.
• Social Content Creation: Formulate and generate captivating social media content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Craft visually arresting graphics, animations, concise videos, and other content formats that harmonize with the brand identity.
• Video Editing: Carry out video editing responsibilities for social media channels, brand initiatives, and other related tasks.
• Community: Connect with our audience across social media channels through comments and DMs.
• Cross-Departmental Communication: Facilitate communication and coordination between internal departments, including marketing, production, and purchasing, to ensure the seamless execution of creative undertakings and social content initiatives.
• Feedback and Direction: Participate in the feedback and direction procedure, ensuring lucid and effective communication among the diverse teams engaged in the creative process.
• Concept Development and Strategy: Cooperate with the team in conceiving creative concepts and strategies for marketing campaigns and social media content.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience managing posting on social media channels.
• Deep understanding of social media landscape/internet culture, specifically TikTok and Instagram, with a keen eye for new trends, changes in algorithm, etc.
• Well-versed in iPhone photo and video editing apps, with the ability to create on-brand content quickly
• Creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to make recommendations that are on-brand, from a performance driven lens.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate feedback and direction among diverse teams
• Ability to oversee various stages of the creative process, including aggregating assets, generating graphics, securing approvals, and delivering final social content
• Excellent organization, planning and management skills, with the ability to keep up with multiple accounts and projects.
• Prior experience in fashion, beauty or design is a plus

The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
