ULTRA Company General Contractors is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial building renovations and tenant interiors projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Direct and manage the construction process from conception to completion, ensuring all work is performed to high standards.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and support teams, ensuring strong communication and effective project execution.
  • Maintain strict adherence to building codes, local regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, labor, and equipment effectively.
  • Lead and Supervise on-site workers, subcontractors, and contractors, ensuring all parties are aligned with the project goals.
  • Utilize Procore for project supervision; remain open to learning and integrating new technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct two to three week look-aheads to anticipate potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, maintaining project momentum.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring each meets its scheduled deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders, from team members to clients.
  • Provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to occasional off-hours projects as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects, specifically renovations and tenant interiors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple contractors and subcontractors.
  • Proficient with construction management software, especially Procore.
  • Ability to foresee potential problems and implement effective solutions.
  • History of meeting or exceeding project timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional travel or off-hours work.
  • Local candidates only, with a valid driver's license and a clean record; ability to pass background checks.

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years commercial construction Superintendent experience

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • OSHA 10 (Preferred)
