Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in carrying out project execution plans for complex, fast-tracked, and/or multi-phased commercial construction projects, adjusting as necessary to address changing needs and requirements.
- Assist Project Managers with preparation of overall construction schedule and regular schedule updates.
- Assist Project Managers in buying out project scopes and preparing purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Assist Project Managers with project budgets and job cost forecasts as required.
- Participate in regular meetings with operations staff, owners, designers, and subcontractors, and document with meeting minutes.
- Assist Project Superintendent with preparation of detailed two-week look ahead schedule.
- Assist Project Managers in Change Order administration.
- Manage plan revision, submittal, and RFI processes.
- Assist Project Superintendents in maintaining quality control and safety standards.
- Participate in takeoff, pricing, and ordering of miscellaneous materials, ensuring timely acquisition and deliveries.
- Maintain open lines of communication with field staff, management, customers, architects, subcontractors, etc., keeping the entire team informed of project issues and changes.
- Assist Project Manager, Owner, and Architect in completion list and punch list inspection processes.
- BA/BS Degree
- Previous commercial construction experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-oriented focus
