The Administrative Coordinator for the Hospitalist program provides administrative support to the Division Chair, Department Administrator, Attending Physicians and the (APCs) Physician Assistants in the Division of Hospital Medicine. In addition to the responsibilities to support the division’s operation, the Administrative Coordinator assists in reviewing charge reports, facilitating physician onboarding, maintaining physician credentialing documentation, schedules meetings, acts as a liaison between the Department and Division, maintains the clinical schedules and provides overall support to the Division Chair. This individual will interact with other physicians, administrators, patients and external organizations within the Division of Hospitalist Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. The Administrative Coordinator has responsibility for special projects as assigned.

High School diploma, and 3 years related experience. Familiarity with clinical department operation. Computer literate, and knowledgeable in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and medical terminology. Knowledge of Cerner/Aecis data bases preferred. Individual must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, establish work priorities, and must be detail-oriented. Must be discrete and able to handle information of confidential nature.
