CNC TOOL CUTTER
Overview:

Join our team as a CNC Tool Cutter and play a pivotal role in the setup and operation of our cutting-edge CNC machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring the high quality of our industry-leading precision tools. Our modern, 79,000 square foot facility is located in Gorham, ME just a short drive from Portland, ME, and is surrounded by rich outdoor activities, safe communities, and excellent educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding programs.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process product inspections.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• An Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Tool Cutter.
• Proficiency in operating and programming Walter, Rollomatic, or Anca CNC Grinders.
• Experience with Walter Helicheck programming is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret Engineering documents, such as geometry specification sheets, product drawings, job routers, process sheets, and SOPs.
• Capacity for regular standing, frequent walking, occasional overhead reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
