Teacher Assistant support Lead Teachers by helping to create a caring and safe environment for children with and without disabilities. Assists in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. Must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assist in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children. Effectively observe and document in the ongoing assessment of children's learning and implementation IFSP/IEP goals. Low teacher child ratios, outside supports for classrooms and educational assistance for staff who would like to continue in Early Childhood Education.
