Principal Responsibilities:

The Richard S. Adler Early Childhood Learning Center is a nurturing and innovative learning environment dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young children. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our learning center by providing administrative support to the staff, parents, and children.The Richard S. Adler Early Childhood Learning Center is a nurturing and innovative learning environment dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young children. Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, parents and children warmly and provide assistance as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with enrollment and registration processes, including paperwork and doc.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student attendance, enrollment, and contact information.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office env.
  • Support teachers and staff with administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to all center policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Passion for working with young children and families.
  • Patience and understanding are a must.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with hours as needed.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Hours: Part-time 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (hours may vary, need flexibility)

Salary Range: $15 to $17 per hour, commensurate with experience
