Responsible for cleaning an assigned patient care area include daily occupied room cleaning, dismissals/transfer cleaning, and nursing/public area cleaning. Follows departmental and hospital infection control polices and procedures for disinfecting patient care areas. May work every other weekend and holidays as necessary.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Some related experience in the health care setting is preferred. Knowledge of proper housekeeping technique and procedures preferred. Must pass the EVS Ability Test with 80% or greater as given by the Human Resources Department. Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is essential. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
