Why this job – CONTROLLER:

As the Controller, you'll spearhead the company's accounting practices, including general and cost accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, cash management, and other administrative functions. Your role involves mentoring and guiding a proficient team of accountants, actively participating in the company's daily accounting functions, serving as the primary liaison for investors, and collaborating closely with the CFO on various ad hoc finance, forecasting, and analysis initiatives. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, collaborative, and highly interactive team.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Manages financial operations, including accounting, reporting, planning, cash management, and tax. Ensures strong financial controls and system integrity across the company
• Own a streamlined month-end close process and financial statement creation
• Create monthly financial reports for management, summarizing key financial developments. Additionally, analyze and present operating results for each department on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Proactively seek opportunities to optimize systems and processes
• Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 15 years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting, is required
• Strong leadership of people and process management
• Stable tenure required
• Experience with communicating with investors
• Private Equity experience a plus

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation $185K - $200K 25% Bonus Equity
• In-office – Broomfield area
