Job Description for: Fleet Delivery Driver

 Summary:

Re-Tron Technologies Fleet Service division distributes premium quality private branded batteries, power accessories, absorbents, gloves, and other supplies to commercial, automotive, marine, golf, trucking, and emergency service providers. Re-Tron provides prompt and courteous to our customers. As a fleet delivery driver, you will deliver and pick-up of products, assist customers with product inquiries, and perform general warehouse duties. Mon-Fri schedule, 8am to 4:30pm. Pay rate is $15-$18 per hour depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.

· Unload truck as needed at customer.

· Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups

· Obey traffic laws and safety procedures.

· Maintain proper licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.

· Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner always.

· Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.

· Check in and out batteries, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Ensure material is properly organized.

· Ask customer pertinent questions, supply information they may need.

· Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability.

· Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, helping customers, taking orders, and supplying excellent customer service.

· Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.

· Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

Abilities and Physical Requirements:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.

· The employee must lift 10 lbs. up to 110 lbs.

· The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and 16ft van

· Employee must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee must talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

· The employee must apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks.
