Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 2nd Shift AFL Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

Assigned Schedule: 1p-9:30p M-F (Extended shift and weekend overtime work required)

Training Schedule: 5a-1:30p M-F (Extended shift and weekend overtime work required)

Skill Level: B

Compensation: $17.50 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential

THE ROLE

The AFL Operator is responsible for operating the machine that cuts laminate sheets.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that the materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.
• Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5"S" criteria.
• Manage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are being met.
• Effectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5S criteria.
• Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
• All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous machine operating experience- required.
• Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred
