Shifts: 7a-7p OR 1p-9p
Days: Rotating schedule (Week 1 = M / T / S / S& Week 2 = W / Th / F) - flexible except every other weekend
Weekends: every other weekend
Compensation: $26,000-$31,200annually full time, $12.50-$15.00 per hour

Purposeof Position
Theprimary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities ofthe Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal,state, and local standards and regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
•Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed.
•Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
•Perform routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreationalareas.
•Attend departmental and staff meetings.
Staff Development
•Attend and participate in in-service educational classes and on-the-jobtraining programs.
•Follow established safety policies and procedures.
•Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies.
•Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable,and attractive manner.
•Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutionsused for cleaning.
•Ensure that established infection control and universal precautions practicesare maintained when performing housekeeping procedures.
•Follow established handwashing procedures.
•Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with our established sanitationprocedures.
•Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies to perform daily tasksis maintained in utility/janitorial closets.
Education
Preferan 8th grade education at a minimum. We are also willing to teach and train.
Experience
Nonerequired. On-the-job training provided.
Specific Requirements
•Previous experience in a skilled nursing or medical facility is preferred
•Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors,government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
