A PE-backed industrial manufacturing company, is on an aggressive growth trajectory, having acquired multiple businesses within the last three years. The company is currently focusing on integrating these acquisitions and enhancing its financial processes and controls.

Position Overview :

As a Senior Accountant, you will have significant exposure to upper management, reporting directly to the VP Accounting. This role is project-driven, working across multiple entities within the company. You will be responsible for establishing ASC 606 and revenue recognition processes for percentage of completion, integrating business units across MS Dynamics, writing SOPs, evaluating and improving internal controls, and gaining exposure to future M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Revenue Recognition : Establish ASC 606 processes for percentage of completion.
• Integration : Integrate multiple business units into MS Dynamics.
• Standard Operating Procedures : Write SOPs for all business units.
• Internal Controls : Evaluate and improve internal controls across the organization.
• M&A Exposure : Support future merger and acquisition activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Background : Experience in Big 4 audit preferred or any public accounting firm, with a desire to be challenged in a dynamic environment.
• Experience : Exposure to M&A activities is a plus.
• Qualifications : CPA is a plus but not required.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Dynamics; familiarity with Sage and Infor is beneficial.
• Soft Skills :
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and respectfully.
• Confidence in communicating with C-level executives (CFO, CEO).
• Laid-back attitude with a strong focus on delivering results.
• Team player who can work well within a growing and evolving department.
