Lincoln Search Consultants is Hiring a Concrete Estimator Near Pontiac, MI
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Concrete Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a deep understanding of concrete foundations and extensive experience in construction estimating. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accurately estimating the cost of concrete projects and effectively communicating with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate the cost of concrete foundations and other related projects.
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consult with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and keep track of the progress of ongoing projects, adjusting budget projections as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to estimates and project progress.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in concrete technology and estimation methods.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in concrete estimation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in concrete foundations and construction processes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
