  1. BASIC PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to assist in providing 24/7 program monitoring services for all clients at the various Social Services sites as assigned during the three different shifts of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; 4:00 pm to 12:00 am and 12:00 am to 8:00 am. These services are provided Monday-Sunday. Program Attendants will be assigned to work either at the Center of Hope, Residence Building, Transitional Living Center and/or parking lot areas to keep the program sites and their participants safe. This position plays a pivotal role in controlling our buildings environments, ensuring that our clients and staff are safe from disorderly behavior and/or pest. This position will be responsible for controlling what items and individuals are granted entry into TSA buildings.

  1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  2. Answer office telephone in a courteous and professional manner.
  3. Issue and initial receipts for donations received (Dollar amount only included if donation is monetary).
  4. Report problems in writing (Incident report) to Supervisor.
  5. Maintain strict confidentiality of clients' information.
  6. Ensure all residents abide by house rules and enforce curfew hours and house schedule.
  7. Maintain an updated time log of all activities and periodically make bed checks (swing shift) and facility monitoring and spot checks while on duty for any shift.
  8. Access outside lines for local business calls made by clients
  9. Monitor client's participation, activity and volunteer work in house and record this information on the master roster.
  10. Prior to wake-up call, make rounds outside office, dorms, and parking lot to prevent possible theft of company property as well as inspecting for anything out of the ordinary.
  11. Make necessary announcements in regard to programs, counseling, services available, meals, etc.
  12. Contact proper authorities in the event of an emergency; becomes the responsible person for clarification of action to be taken within dorm situation.
  13. Keep work area clean and orderly while maintaining a professional attitude at all times (only on-duty dorm Program Attendants are allowed in the front office).
  14. Clean windows, floors, restroom in common areas: lobby, office, cafeteria and hallway.
  15. Keep hallways and doorways clear at all times.
  16. Secure building after curfew and make irregular, frequent rounds throughout the remainder of shift to assure adequate security. [No residents are to enter or leave dorm after curfew unless they are verified night workers or have a pass.]
  17. Inspect grounds periodically for cleanliness and safety.
  18. In conjunction with supervisor work to ensure our various contracts with local area hospitals, private organizations and governments are being abided to and maintained. Professionalism in key!
  19. Accomplish various tasks and responsibilities as assigned by various site supervisors. Additional tasks are to be in line with general duties and responsibilities.
  1. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
  2. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  3. No prior experience or training is required.
  4. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.

  3. Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects

  7. Ability to operate a computer
  8. Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information
  9. Ability to operate basic office equipment and tools, including but not limited to staplers, 3-hole punch, etc.
