Staff Accountant Position Overview:

Our client is seeking assistance due to the current workload and needs of their accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Staff Accountant will assist with month end close
• Staff Accountant will make journal entries
• Staff Accountant will complete reconciliations
• Billing responsibilities will also be assigned to Staff Accountant role
• Staff Accountant will be working with project managers. This is mainly related to contract documents including change orders, and getting the monthly bills out.
• Staff Accountant will possibly have some payroll related responsibilities, as well - any UKG experience is a plus. Possibly processing payroll for 270 employees, multistate, biweekly.

Requirements:

• 2 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel skills - (VLOOKUP's & pivot tables required)
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Degree is a plus but NOT required
• Deltek Vision is a plus but NOT required
• Payroll experience is a plus but NOT required
• Sage for fixed assets experience is a plus but NOT required
