Job Title: Lead, Space Operations Planner (Active TS/SCI w/ Poly) Job Code: 10901 Job Location: Springfield, VA Job Description: L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Space Operations Planner for an important national Security Program. The successful candidate provides enterprise planning and advisory support in a dynamic, high-paced environment while guiding rapid evolution of planning products and forums to support enterprise operations. The candidate may be charged with generating product and deliverables, requiring government and mission partner coordination. The successful candidate should also have experience in developing Joint Training Plans, and identifying and updating training objectives from approved plans in coordination with the respective customers and participants, identifying existing and/or emerging exercise and advance training opportunities in which training objectives may be fulfilled, matching training objectives with identified exercise/advanced training opportunities, and compiling all data into a presentation for senior leadership review and approval. Essential Functions: * Prepare, Plan, and Integrate support into customer planning, exercises, training, and operations activities.
* Integrate activities into the joint planning cycle supporting customer needs.
* Provide subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of operations and exercise planning coordination and deconfliction.
* Support development, deployment and execution of plans and operations orders.
* Prepare various reports, presentations and documentation as needed.
* Support development and coordination of space operations guidance and intent.
* Plan, organize and direct space operations planning programs.
* Works under minimal supervision to set objectives for work environment.
* Leverage operations center communications contracts to coordinate operational processes, best practices, doctrine, and procedures.
* Work will be primarily conducted at in Springfield, VA at the customer site, with potential for travel within the United States and potentially overseas to support program execution.
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
* Familiarity with Joint Operations and Joint Planning Process.
* Familiarity with Mission Protection function.
* Active Top-Secret clearance with CI Poly.
Desired Qualifications: * Graduate from Joint Professional Military Education program.
* 2 years' experience in a General Officer/Flag Officer G/J/N-5 (Plans Directorate).
* Completion of O-4 professional military education.
* Space operations/Satellite Operations crew certification.
* DoD/NRO systems liaison / field representative.
* Orbital mechanics program.
