ISS Test Software Engineers design, implement, and run test plans against application and server solutions using secure technologies enabling enterprises, developers, and end-users to release and maintain embedded products with uncompromising security.

1. Work with a small team of developers to solve engineering problems for cyber security platforms
2. Develop test scripts using various programming languages that support business needs
3. Design plans, procedures, and scripts to test and evaluate software
4. Use automated or manual testing procedures to assess the functionality of software and applications
5. Detect software bugs and errors
6. Create documentation of testing procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with standards
7. Ensure software meets quality standards according to client requirements or company policies
8. Perform white box, black box, and gray box testing procedures
9. Author reports on the testing procedures taken including results and findings
10. Provide feedback to the development team regarding necessary software changes or improvements
11. Other tasks that may arise

1. Knowledge of core web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs
2. Knowledge of server/client-side architectures
3. Knowledge of PKI and SSL / TLS security protocols
4. Knowledge in server-side programming with Node.js and Python
5. Knowledge in version control software such as git
6. Knowledge with databases and related administration
7. Possess working knowledge of major operating systems including Linux, Windows, and OS-X
8. Effective communication skills, both written and oral
9. Possess strong analytical skills in the formulation and solutions of problems
10. Knowledge of C & C is a plus

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Occasional day and overnight travel may be required

Bachelors degree in software, computer, electronics, or other relevant engineering disciplines

Must be a U.S. citizen
