We are looking for a Financial Controller for an ITservices firm based in the D.C. metro area, specializing in accounting software. Asthe Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing andoptimizing our financial operations. You will be responsible for maintainingaccurate financial records, conducting thorough analyses, and ensuringcompliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in GAAP analysis, experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite,proficiency in auditing practices, and familiarity with international taxfilings. This is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 in-office days,so the ideal candidate will be able to travel to Reston, VA each week. 

• Spearhead the financial operations of the firm, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. 
• Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize risk.
• Manage international tax filings and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting 
• 5 Years of Accounting Experience within the Software/Tech industry
• CPA Preferred
• NetSuite or similar ERP Experience
• GAAP Analysis Experience
• Previous Experience with Auditing 
• International Tax Filing Experience
• Strong Understanding of ASC 606 Standards
