MAJOR FUNCTION: The Inspira Medical Group Outpatient RN will work on a multidisciplinary health care team in a subspecialty setting. The RN will focus on triaging patient calls, providing results for providers and answering general clinical questions for patients and clinical support staff in the practice. They are an integral part of providing high level quality of care and coordination care for patients. The RN will work in conjunction with the physicians and office staff focusing on identifying the needs of all patients served while assisting the practice to develop a process for managing the patient population. The RN role holds a key role in the providing high level quality care to all patients served and is an integral part of this team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience:
Experience in the outpatient or inpatient setting required.
Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
3 to 5 years of direct patient care experience required.
Familiarity with community resources and social service resources to assist patients with social needs.
Certification/Licensure:
Requires a New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
Requires BLS Certification from American Heart Association
