Job title: Receptionist
Overview:
Our receptionists act as a liaison between the providers and veterans by
working directly with the provider to deliver high-quality, compassionate customer service.
Responsibilities: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for
this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or
reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time with reasonable accommodation.
• Ensuring all visitors are prescreened and veterans are checked in/out properly on PS.
• Uploading results to appropriate vendor/PS portal resources for billing and medical
records.
• Cooperates and communicates with the Lead MA in the clinic (if applicable) for areas
affecting front office operations.
• Assists with the general housekeeping protocols in accordance with our Infection
Control policies and guidelines.
• Ensuring proper organization and supply inventory for the front desk area.
• Assists with scanning and emailing EOD paperwork such as cleaning logs, accounting
invoices, mail, etc. to management.
• Creating veteran charts.
• Operating Fax Machines, Printers, Scanners, Copiers and, answering phones.
Requirements and Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Associates or equivalent experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Self-starter
• Ability to prioritize and field multiple duties and requests
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong systems skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
