We have an immediate opening for a Procurement/Contracts Specialist position.

Keys to this role are;

  1. Must have experience in Construction projects
  2. Must have Government procurement and Contract Administrator experience
  3. Must live and be able to Commute to DC area for an onsite position

This position is onsite in the Navy Yard area in DC with some flexibility to location of office

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years-experience working for or with a public agency; transit agency preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years-experience (from the 5-10 years noted above) must involve working with Professional Service contracts (not widget/material buyers or manufacturing contracts).
  • Must have proven experience working in a very high-volume Procurement/Contracts role, involving the ability to multi-task daily.
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction or guidance and have previous experience in a Procurement/Contracts role that required making recommendations or decision making.
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have proven experience in working with electronic procurement software applications (e.g. SharePoint, Peoplesoft, Procore, etc.).
  • Full-time position which acts in shared reporting role
