Inova is seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department to help expand our services in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia.

We are opening a brand-new state-of-the-art health care facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood is an outpatient facility that will include a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care and other medical offices.

Schedule: Fulltime, Day shift. Three 12 hr shifts per week (7am - 7pm)

As an Inova Nurse you will :

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements:

Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting .

• Strongly prefer 2 years plus of ED RN experience
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
• Proficient computer skills required.
