Job Summary 

The Planner is responsible to develop production schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and proactively set levels of manufacturing output.

Responsibilities

• Release material and paperwork to shop floor to support build of product
• Schedule jobs to be run in the order to support the assembly of units
• Close shop floor packets and complete transactions to keep WIP and FIN inventory correct
• Issue pick list to relieve inventory of raw material
• Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages
• Work with stockroom personnel to correct inventory when required
• Provide support with receiving when the need occurs
• Other non-routine assignments in keeping with the basic responsibilities of the job

Basic Qualifications 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MRP
• High School Diploma

• Strong customer mindset
• Ability to coordinate workflow through the production cell
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skill
