Full Time Safety Specialist - Substation Construction

This position is responsible for the safety of all personnel and equipment involved in the construction of substations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of power delivery, utility construction, and high voltages. They will also have a proven track record of safety compliance in a construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety procedures for all substation construction activities.
• Inspect worksites for safety hazards and ensure that they are corrected.
• Train workers on safety procedures and ensure that they are following them.
• Investigate accidents and take steps to prevent them from happening again.
• Maintain records of all safety-related activities.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in substation construction.
• OSHA 500/510 certifications
• Strong understanding of power delivery, utility construction, and high voltages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
