Job description

Job Summary : Performs all technical duties in one of the functional areas : electronic, mechanical, or systems. Completes tests, measurements, operations, or process controls.
Conducts troubleshooting to diagnose product, process, or program defects and repair them.
Detailed Description :
- Perform technical duties on all functional work group projects; employ test technique / procedures for all key cell projects.
- Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material
- Maintain production tools and equipment.
- Ability to : blueprint reading; component identification; wire-preparation, stripping, and crimping; harness repair and termination;
use of all pertinent manual hand tools.
- Skilled with electronics, hydraulics and / or mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation and / or programming
- Perform Valve repairs, hydrostatic testing, assembly of component
Job Requirements :
- High school diploma / GED is required,
- A license is not required but will need a valid photo ID
- Be able to pass a urine, hair follicle drug test and background check.
- Experience is very open
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Forklift / overhead crane experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications :
- Must be willing to work long hours (12-hour shifts) at minimum.
- Have a clear understanding of the importance of being at work when scheduled.
- Be able to understand the fundamentals of pneumatic torque wrenches,
- Mechanical skills are a plus
Preferred Qualifications :
- Punctuality, great work attitude, self-driven
- Previous Mechanical experience
Additional Details :
- Pay Rate is $19.00
- Contract to Hire
Working Conditions : This position will be in doors in a very large shop. Candidate will be working on your feet 95% of the day.
The environment is very loud due to impact torque wrenches going off in different areas. Day to day is high traffic and fast pace.
