The Restorative Aide is responsible for providing nursing restorative care to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being possible without decline, unless the decline is documented as unavoidable. The Restorative Aide will provide this care as assigned by the Restorative Nurse or DON and in accordance with the resident’s overall plan of care. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Must possess a current CNA status in accordance with statutory requirements. Must have completed additional instruction/training in restorative care procedures and have appropriate documentation as evidence contained in their employment file.
