Hours/Shift: Full-Time (Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-5:00 pm) Friday schedule varies per practice.

The Role:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Dental Assistants to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with dental hygiene treatments and providing oral health education to our patients. You will utilize your knowledge and expertise to help examine patients' teeth and gums, assist with cleanings, X-rays, and fluoride treatments. Your primary goal will be to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Responsibilities:

  • As an Entry-Level Dental Assistant - you keep our operations efficient and running smoothly
  • When interacting with our patients, your customer service skills shine as you take care of any questions or concerns they may have
  • You keep your workspace clean & provide assistance to other members of the dental team
  • Provide a warm greeting and escort patients of all ages to the appropriate operatory space
  • Prepare instrument cassettes and set up materials for the procedures to be performed
  • Perform sterilization of contaminated dental instruments after appropriate training and follow standards of infection control protocol
  • Make accurate alginate impressions which are to be poured into diagnostic models after training
  • Assisting procedures that include but are not limited to: fixed and removable prosthodontics, esthetic and non-esthetic direct restorations, oral surgery, & endodontics.
  • Briefly explain dental procedures and answer basic questions about treatment planning to the patient
  • Assist office personnel in times of patient health emergencies
  • Willingness to learn new technologies (impression scanning, digital restoration design, etc.)
  • Stay on task during and in between appointments
