L&R Enterprises, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Project Manager possessing a construction-related background. The applicant must have strong organizational skills, be proficient in written and oral communications, ability to work in team environments, read construction plans, specifications and shop drawings and the ability to work in office and field environments. Effective management of various project details to include review of construction documents, contracts, changes, schedules, costs and managing details, processing submittals, reviewing requests for information and samples, and ensuring that all vested parties are apprised of all changes.
Responsibilities : The Project Manager will report to the President, lead the project team at all levels and will be in charge of performing daily management activities of construction projects from start to finish. Will work directly with Clients (General Contractors/Owners) on daily tasks and duties required for the project.
Five (5) years of project management experience required with the following tasks is desired:
• Estimating, planning, budgeting, scheduling, shop drawing coordination material procurement and identifying resources needed to complete the projects
• Ensure projects are being executed within budget
• Submit material product data submittals and ensure materials are procured in accordance with project schedule
• Work with project superintendent to ensure that construction activities move according to schedule
• Developing, providing and obtaining approvals for RFIs, Change Orders, and Modifications to GC/Owner
• Project accounting functions, including preparing and approval of Schedule of values and monthly requisitions for work performed
• Ability to provide preconstruction and value engineering services to our clients
