Our client is seeking an Electrical Designer with control systems design and panel layout experience in the equipment manufacturing market. You will work with the project team to provide your electrical design expertise for parcel conveyor systems for several large customers.
This client is a fast-growing company which supplies conveyors and industrial equipment to the E-Commerce market. Our ideal candidate has all the technical skills listed below and the wherewithal to contribute right away.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop drawings for control panels and on machine wiring
Performing power engineering calculations
Designing to applicable standards and codes
Design systems with PLCs, VFDs and HMIs
Develop electrical schematics
Evaluate, select, and specify appropriate electrical equipment and components
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines
Effectively build and maintain relationships with clients, panel builders, and our team
Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Extensive AutoCAD experience
Solid MS Office knowledge/experience - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
A minimum of 2 years of electrical design experience in the control systems environment
Physical Requirements:
This is a design job. Expect to sit at a desk for prolonged periods working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
