Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Job Requirements:

Current license as a Certified Medication Technician in the state of Missouri.

Duties and Responsibilities for Certified Medication Technician (CMT):

  • Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
  • You encourage residents to socialize and engage with each other to keep their spirits healthy.
  • You create a safe environment where residents can thrive
  • Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN
  • Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
  • Transport assigned residents to and from appropriate dining areas. Feed or assist any resident as needed.
  • Make frequent rounds and check on residents. Supervise nurses aides, making sure they are assisting and caring for residents appropriately. Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary. Follow-up to ensure correction of any problems found.
