Registered Nurse Manager – ER Unit
Location: Jackson County, Oregon
Shift: Days Weekend shifts required.
Unit: ER Unit
Salary: $124,800 - $145,600/annually
Experience Required: Three or more years of progressive leadership/supervisory nursing experience., Previous management experience preferred, Experience in an acute care environment.
Job Duties:
Foster staff self-development and continuous learning.
Ensure competence of all staff is assessed, maintained, demonstrated, and improved continually.
Solicit feedback from internal and external customers to monitor service effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Engage in the performance improvement process to ensure quality and patient safety within the unit.
Communicate and implement the strategic direction of the organization.
Provide patient care across all age ranges (pediatrics to geriatrics) at a ratio of 4:1.
Provide acute care nursing services.
Utilize GE cardiac monitors and Zoll defibrillators.
Use Epic EMR for electronic medical records.
Operate Omnicell medication dispensing units.
Licensures and Certifications:
Oregon Registered Nursing License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC).
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and subsequent renewals.
Facility Details: 378-bed regional referral and trauma center.
Offers nationally-recognized heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, cancer care, neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, a primary stroke center, and a neonatal intensive care unit.
