We are looking to hire a Patient Service Representative in Boise at our Women's Health Clinic About this clinic: This specialized surgical clinic is located at 900 North Liberty Avenue, Suite 101 and provides specialized care in Comprehensive Breast surgery, Plastics and Reconstructive surgery, and Gynecological Oncology. The clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In this clinic our Patient Service Representatives support 3 Medical Doctors, 3 Physician Assistants. They also support 5 clinics (Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Ontario, and Baler City) where these providers provide services. Travel will be involved in this role, but is a shared responsibility and compensation is provided for the travel. As a Patient Service Representative at the Specialty Care Center, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients' administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, surgery scheduling, and checking insurance eligibility. You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record to update required information. This position offers a chance for you to expand your skill set and be involved in multiple areas of the care coordination process. Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail oriented, a quick learner and has a passion for providing a high quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families. The ability to provide superior customer service while utilizing independent decision making skills will be essential in this position. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
