Job Title: Corporate Trainer

Pay Grade: 6

Salary: Entry- $60,588

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary: The Corporate Trainer is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs; conducts need assessments and executes training. The Corporate Trainer is responsible for maintaining the educational standards of AATC by providing targeted comprehensive training at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment. The Corporate Trainer identifies areas for employee improvement by utilizing performance information provided by leadership. This data is required to develop training courses in addition to establishing methods to track employee performance after the completion of training.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts needs assessment and identify performance gaps and implements training best practices to ensure alignment with company need.
  • Collaborates with leadership to create job-specific course content.
  • Trains new hires on company policies and procedures and uses the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
  • Creates training schedules for all company departments, tracks and creates reports on outcomes of all training, and maintains training records for the company.
  • Utilizes a variety of techniques, concepts, and development and delivery of training programs and strategies.
  • Evaluate the success of training implementation by assessing the achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs.
  • Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 2 years in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.
