Ice Plant Stackers are responsible for safe, secure and accurate stacking of ice and ensuring they arrive at the delivery platform complete and on time.
Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct amount of ice is delivered
• Fill ice merchandisers at different locations
• Responsible for loading and unloading the truck at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Assist in physical inventories
• Comply with all OSHA/FSMA/MSDS standards
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly and safe work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Ability to perform simple math calculations
• Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing
• Ability to operate various material handling equipment
• Ability to work in various temperatures for periods of up to12 hours per day
• Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 100 pounds
• Must meet material handling equipment certification requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
