We are seeking an Interior Design Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects, contribute to a thriving business, and mentor a talented team. The ideal candidate combines extensive design project management experience with a comprehensive understanding of the design process, a strong business acumen, and a passion for mentoring. The major roles for this position are:

• Design Team Management: Ownership of project production and deliverables, mentorship as needed
• Project Management: Create and manage schedules and workflow
• Project Financials: Create, maintain and manage project budgets and time-billing
• Support in Project Success: Maintain and contribute to design procedures and firm standards in an effort to ensure successful projects from start to finish

Responsibilities and Job Characteristics

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to 100% commit to Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 pm minimum hours in Mountain View office (45 min. maximum commute).
• Degree in Interior Design or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and Studio Designer (a plus).
• Positive, enthusiastic team player excited to contribute without limitation.
• A love for mentorship and honing the art of the design process.
• A genuine interest in the intersection between design and business.
• A desire to work closely and in tandem with the Founder/Principal Designer.
• Experienced and technically knowledgeable to provide mentorship of junior staff.
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate in all deliverables.
• Strong leadership and relationship-management skills with a love of working as a team.
• Must be a problem-solver, self-starter and highly resourceful.
