IBR is Hiring a Front End Developer Near Rockledge, FL
The Front End Engineer must be able to meet the key criteria below:
- Location: 100% remote
- Years' Experience: 5 years
- Education: Bachelors degree in IT related field
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen
- Hours: Full-Time
- Key Skills:
- Front end development experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and/or Angular
- Angular experience highly preferred
- Must have prior UI/UX experience
- Experience with user testing is a bonus
Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems? IBR is seeking an experienced front-end developer who is an effective communicator, has strong development skills, and exhibits a passion for effective usability. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing, presenting, implementing, and testing interfaces on a multitude of devices.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging user experiences by creating workflows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other deliverables.
- Prepare and present low/high fidelity prototypes to stakeholders that demonstrate functionality and the overall user journey.
- Collaborate with internal development team and customer to design user interfaces that meet modern UI/UX standards
- Assist the larger development team with front-end code/style implementation and guide the testing team by way of thorough documentation and supporting visual information.
- Partner closely with UX and back-end engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
- Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture and application security standards
- Present demo designs and development features to Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts
- Research the latest UX treads and research papers
Qualifications
- Front-End development and UI/UX design experience that includes hands on experience with technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, and/or Angular
- Experience using interactive mockup tools such as Adobe XD, Figma and/or Sketch a bonus
- Experience with Adobe Protoshare, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and/or InDesign preferred
- Experience designing user interface designs for the web
- Experience designing with frameworks such as Material Design for Bootstrap
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to replicate redlines/mockups/prototypes and design specifications
- Experience with concepts such as sketching, storyboarding and wireframing
- Experience with User Testing a bonus
- Experience working with an existing style guide
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present complex interface concepts to team members and stakeholders
