Position Overview:

Apply your analytical problem solving skills to support key operational initiatives which help our company improve and grow! In this role, you will create and monitor various reports involving equipment, tool, and vehicle inventory and utilization, as well as other key data and department metrics. You will use your keen eye and critical thinking skills to identify trends, potential issues, and to make strategic recommendations to leadership throughout the organization.

Your ability to communicate your findings to stakeholders at all different levels of the company will help you build strong bridges between departments and drive change which will benefit all parties involved.

Location & Travel:

• This is a telecommute position; working out of our York office is preferable, but you will have flexibility to work from home and/or from another IB Abel office when appropriate
• Some occasional travel may be necessary to other IB Abel locations, operations centers, or customer sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership/department Vice Presidents based on your findings regarding equipment utilization, departmental metrics, and inventory data
• Analyze tracking data and financial reports using cost accounting methods
• Track, trend, and analyze production data and develop productivity measurements to determine performance standards
• Research and present data to support bid specifications and evaluations for the purchase of new equipment and vehicles
• Assist other users of Viewpoint Vista in the department to correct data discrepancies
• Work with various departments, including Finance and IT, to create and implement reporting tools

Qualifications:

Required:

• Proficient with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
• Excellent computer and data manipulation skills
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• 1 to 3 years’ office work experience in the Financial arena

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Data Analytics, or an acceptable combination of education and work experience

Other:

• Must have a reliable form of transportation.

Desired:

• Prior work experience with Viewpoint Vista or other construction management platform/systems
• Crystal Reports experience
• MS Access experience
