As a Machine Operator you will:
SHIFT AVAILABLE: 2ND- 4PM-12 (SUBJECT TO OVERTIME)
3RD -12-8AM (SUBJECT TO OVERTIME)
- making any necessary adjustments to the machine to maintain product specifications.
- quality control tests/checks every two hours beginning at the start of the shift and continuing throughout the work shift
- requires the operator to perform changeovers, setups, startup duties, preventive maintenance, etc.
- responsible for the department thermoformers, the extruder area, the trim press, plastic grinders, and all pertinent areas and tools that assist in the maintenance of these areas.
- Demonstrated leadership attributes and cooperative relationships with peers, crew and supervisory staff.
- Daily review of operator down time logs to note any actions needed within a short range time frame
