Job Title:  General Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary:  $45,000 base not including gratuity & bonus opportunities based on individual and team performance

Location:  Hyde Park Village

Summary of Responsibilities:

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the direction of the business towards unparalleled service excellence. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring all resources are aligned and focused on delivering a service experience that exceeds customer expectations. This includes assembling and leading talented teams, managing daily operations, and maintaining a tidy and organized work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership : Spearheading the development of high-performing teams by fostering an inclusive environment that champions equal opportunities and fair treatment for all staff members.
  • Operational Management : Overseeing the day-to-day operations, which encompass employee scheduling, conducting training sessions, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development : Leading the hiring process to attract, select, and onboard top talent.
  • Coaching & Training:  Implementing training programs that promote professional growth and development, ensuring the team possesses the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Sales Enhancement : Actively driving sales growth through customer engagement, effective suggestive selling techniques, and in-depth product knowledge.
  • Strategic Collaboration : Working in tandem with the Leadership Team to set and achieve the organization's strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Community Engagement : Building and nurturing relationships with local businesses and individuals to facilitate events and partnerships that enhance the brand's community presence.
  • Financial & Inventory Oversight : Managing inventory levels, overseeing financial transactions, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized, reflecting the brand's standards.

Candidate Must Possess the Following:

  • Management Experience : At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Team Building : Proven ability to build, maintain, and inspire a cohesive team.
  • Leadership : Demonstrates leading by example, motivating others to achieve excellence.
  • Innovative Thinking : Excels at thinking outside the box and uncovering hidden value.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Management experience of 5 or more years with similar scope.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
