Position Summary:
In collaboration with the Chief Hospitalist, the Nurse Practitioner provides continuing and holistic healthcare service to individuals and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Chief Hospitalist, the Nurse Practitioner provides continuing and holistic healthcare service to individuals and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivers a variety of healthcare services, including preventative, chronic and acute services.
- Performs diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, carries out health-risk assessments, routine check-ups, screening tests and immunizations, and counseling to individuals on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to prevent diseases.
- Ensure participation in continuing education and training to keep abreast of current developments in the industry.
- Provide quality care to patients by following the most current evidence-based guidelines and procedure of practice.
- Takes part in quality assurance audits.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience
- Current IL APN license
- BLS
