Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and objectives
- Coordinate and manage sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up
-working directly with the clients and hotel team to plan and detail out events and creating, managing and reviewing Banquet Event Orders(BEOs)
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
-Manage group guest reservations, rooming lists, reservation links, inventory/cut off dates
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and market trends
- Maintain customer records and update the CRM system (delphi.fdc) with accurate and up-to-date information
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and conferences
-additional dutues as assigned by Director of Sales, Sales Manager and General Manager
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role
- Strong knowledge of sales principles and techniques
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor activities
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with customers and internal teams
- Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
