The TEAP Coordinator position provides support for a U.S Department of Labor Job Corps contractor. The Job Corps program is a federally-funded residential training program. The mission of Job Corps is to provide career-ready technical and academic training and job placement assistance to program eligible youth ages 16-24.
Summary of Duties: The TEAP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Trainee Employee Assistance Program (TEAP) and Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Programs which includes assessment, prevention, intervention, counseling, relapse prevention and education.

Education and Experience
Must possess an active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets minimum state licensing or certification requirements to practice in the state where the center is located. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registration
Valid state driver’s license; Substance Abuse Treatment Certification; CPR/First Aid certifications

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
