The Opportunity:

Multiple physician practices in the NJ Metro area are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their leadership team. In this critical role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple practices, ensuring their efficient and successful delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the affiliated practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, practice administrators, and the finance team to develop and implement operational initiatives that optimize efficiency, profitability, and patient satisfaction.
• Manage real estate contracts and negotiations.
• Develop and oversee marketing strategies for the practices.
• Manage and optimize equipment and office supplies across all locations.
• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high-performing staff.
• Navigate and resolve day-to-day operational issues with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that celebrates diversity and respects multiple personalities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing complex operations.
• Physician practice experience highly preferred.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare (preferred). Bachelor's degree with significant healthcare leadership experience may be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing and motivating diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and healthcare specific software applications.
