Hi There!

They deserve the best of care and life enrichment. With intent, we are building an All-Star team of care partners to grow into the most sought-after Assisted Living and Memory Care in Tallahassee. Well, that’s not totally accurate…we intend to be the most sought-after Assisted Living in ALL of North Florida. We feel the work of caring for the Elderly has a purpose beyond most “jobs” and it's an incredible feeling to know that you are valued for contributing to others' lives. If you agree and you desire to contribute to the lives of those in need, desire to be appreciated and compensated for your efforts, and want to be part of an All-Star care partner Assisted Living team, please read on.

Villas at Killearn Lakes is a unique Assisted Living neighborhood of homes and we believe provides a unique opportunity for those seeking to be care partners.

Have you chosen the work of a care partner but find yourself overstretched with too many residents to care for alone?

Do you feel underappreciated and overworked?

Do you feel underpaid?

Here is a list of the things we do, what we expect from our care partners, and what we offer in return.

Our Care Partners' responsibilities are no different from everyday life which include:

  • Personal care for Elders, bathing, dressing, grooming,
  • Medication passes
  • Preparing meals, cooking & serving
  • Meaningful engagement throughout the day with a smile, connection, and caring heart
  • Cleaning & Housekeeping
  • Laundry.

Sounds like everyday life, right? It is, but we all know care partnering requires more.

Our care partners work in a Villa with up to 12 residents in each. We staff our Villas with (2) care partners in each Villa each day – a 1:6 care partner to resident ratio. We surround you with support with Team Leads, a Chef Coach, a Social Engagement Director, a team of social workers, a great LPN staff for nursing support, and an Owner is on site and invested.

That’s what our care partner's responsibilities entail, here is what we expect and offer:

  • We expect dependability, accountability, and respect to the Elders, your other care partner teammates, Team Leads, and all of us at the Villas.
  • We expect a positive “can do” attitude.
  • We expect active and proactive communication.
  • We expect being able to work with others and to work through differences and talk.

To be honest, we expect our entire team to show up willing and wanting to do as much as possible to enhance the lives of our Elders. Those who feel otherwise, no need to apply.

Imagine contributing to a place where you and others around you show up each day with a mindset and drive to improve an Elder's life; be compensated fairly with the opportunity to grow into leadership opportunities; and help us grow into a powerhouse team. Can you imagine that? Its possible with the right people.

Its probably tough to imagine that because we know how other facilities function - We are not like the others.

Here’s a few quotes from our Care Partners:

“ It truly feels like a family here”

“ With the right daily attitude and commitments, the Villas is an amazing place but its all about what we put into our daily efforts”
