YOUR DAY
As the Therapeutic Foster Care Supervisor, you play an essential role in ensuring the success of our program. You care for youth with mental health and acute behavior problems, providing them with a safe and nurturing home environment for 6-9 months. You're responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, and evaluating a dedicated team that works together to support youth in all aspects of their lives. You also ensure that our practices are consistent with TCI and the CARE practice model, and that programming is intentionally focused on treatment goals and permanency. Additionally, you work closely with Hoyleton colleagues, DCFS, the courts, and other community organizations to ensure effective collaboration.

WHAT WE NEED
We're looking for someone who can work 40 hours a week with the occasional 24-hour on-call rotation while meeting the following qualifications:
  • 21 years old
  • Master's degree in social work, education, or another human services field
  • Licensure by DCFS or eligibility for licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT)
  • 3 years of professional experience in providing social services specifically to families and children
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to provide service in a manner that reflects an appreciation for the cultural background, heritage, and identity of clients and their families, work peers, and other associates
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
