Private family looking to hire an experienced Housekeeper for their home in Staten Island, NY - Opportunity to Live In or Live Out!

A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to help maintain their large beautiful home. They do not want someone to be intimidated by the size of the home as they are a laid-back family and do not use most of the space regularly so cleaning is mostly contained to the lower level (basement, where they spend most of their time) and the master bedroom/bath and 2 children's bedrooms and baths. The family has 2 older children who do not live in the home and 2 boys (18 years and 9 years) who are currently living in the home. Their 18-year-old will be leaving for college in August so it will primarily be a family of three at that point, with fewer rooms to clean and maintain. If you appreciate cleanliness, are highly organized, and enjoy ensuring a home is comfortable and orderly, we would love to hear from you!

The Ideal Candidate: An experienced, friendly Housekeeper who can clean and maintain a large home and keeps things in order. The ideal candidate appreciates cleanliness and is organized and customer-focused. Daily/weekly duties will include full house cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, deep cleaning the master suite and master bathroom and 2 kid's bedrooms with bathrooms, deep cleaning the lower level Kitchen (where they do most of their living) emptying the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and helping to clean out/organize the pantry, handling the family laundry, ironing (as needed), changing the bedding once a week, and washing bedding and towels. Other duties will include helping to empty/put away groceries and occasionally letting the dog out into the yard. Additional duties on a less regular basis will include making sure the rooms that are used less often are dusted and cleaned as needed. Assistance may also be requested to help the principal set up for entertaining, including dinner parties and holidays.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35-$40/hour on payroll, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
