Provides accounting support to the Director and Manager of Accounting. This includes maintaining the general accounting system, preparing the financial statements and budgets for the Hospital and other subsidiaries, and completing other tasks as determined.
Heavily involved with reporting and includes the following: IRS 990 tax return for exempt organizations, sales tax filing, Property tax filings and various annual surveys. Grant reporting is also a major function of this role.
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
Experience
5 years' experience in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
Experience working in a health care organization is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate is preferred.
